BRIDGE Update: October 2, 2026
Opportunities for Support
BRIDGE Open Office Hours: The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and project partners will continue holding general Office Hours on a weekly basis. Our next session is scheduled for next Wednesday, Oct. 7, 12–1 p.m. CDT.
Non-Public State Student ID Support Session: NDDPI invites non-public educational entities to join an upcoming support session focused on obtaining and managing State Student IDs. This session will provide guidance on the State Student ID process, review key requirements and expectations, and offer participants an opportunity to ask questions and receive assistance directly from the project team. Whether you are preparing to establish State Student IDs for the first time or seeking clarification on current procedures, this session is designed to help ensure your students are accurately identified and included within North Dakota’s statewide education data systems.
State Sync Update
Infinite Campus release 2639.8, installed Oct. 2, has reportedly resolved the data synchronization issue between the District Edition and the State Edition of Infinite Campus.
If you encounter any continued syncing problems or notice unexpected behavior, please contact your Infinite Campus Support team.
MIS03 Reminder
As a reminder the MIS03 report is due Oct. 16 at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
Below are training resources to help you get through the process of entering your MIS03 information for 2026–2027 reporting.
This video will walk you through common MIS03 tasks, including rolling over last year’s staff, adding new staff, entering dual credit courses, adding long-term substitutes, and more.
Contact Katie Wald at kjwald@nd.gov for questions regarding MIS03 setup.
Transcript Configuration Guidance
The ND Transcript Management Guide for Infinite Campus is now available and provides districts with initial guidance on configuring transcript-related settings and preparing for transcript management in Infinite Campus. Please note that this is Version 1 of the guide and focuses on transcript configuration. An updated version with additional information, including transcript distribution processes and related procedures, will be released as soon as possible. We encourage districts to review the guide and begin familiarizing themselves with the new transcript management approach.
Cross-Site Enrollment Clarification
NDDPI is continuing to develop formal guidance for cross‑site enrollment reporting. One key clarification we can provide at this time—based on recent consultation with Infinite Campus is that cross‑site enrollments should not be marked as “Exclude from State Reporting.”
Enrollment Validations
Most Infinite Campus state validations remain temporarily turned off, with the exception of overlapping enrollment and previously exited validations, which are still active.
DPI will begin re-enabling validations once statewide enrollment data is finalized—around late October. The first validations to be restored will be Special Education (SPED) and English Learner (EL) validations.
Data Migration
The following data conversions were completed by Infinite Campus on Sept. 30.
These are the final anticipated data conversions completed by Infinite Campus as part of the transition from PowerSchool.
Other ongoing data migration work includes the transfer of Civics Test Dates, ACT scores, and additional assessment data from NDDPI, along with the conversion of native TieNet forms into PDF documents for import into Infinite Campus.
NDHSAA Eligibility Report
Thanks to the help of several districts, the NDHSAA Eligibility Report has been updated in Infinite Campus.
Running the Report:
Reporting > Data Validation > Data Validation Report.
Ensure you've selected the current high school you would like to run the report for in the context selector.
During configuration, we identified that some districts do not have GPA Weight values set in the Course Master. The report generates two tabs in Excel. The first is the list of your students with their eligibility results. The second is a list of courses that are missing the GPA Weight value.
If you find inaccuracies in the calculations, please report them to BRIDGE@nd.gov.
Also, please make corrections immediately to ensure that all courses in Course Master have the GPA Weight field populated in Infinite Campus. Many systems, including the eligibility report and state-level reporting, depend on this data to accurately calculate GPAs, and missing GPA Weight values will result in reporting delays.
EdPortal Access
The required functionality has been deployed to district Infinite Campus sites and configuration guidance is available. We are currently working with SLDS, Infinite Campus, and testing districts to resolve a final authentication issue discovered during production testing. Once resolved, districts will be able to complete configuration and begin using the new student and parent EdPortal links.
Infinite Campus Training Sites
This is a reminder that, in accordance with the Infinite Campus implementation plan, district training sites were deactivated on Thursday, Oct. 1. Districts are encouraged to use their Sandbox site as a training environment for staff and to continue practicing system processes and workflows.
